We import quality indoor furniture made of 100% sustainably harvested mahogany mature heart timber AND 100% teak outdoor furniture, also plantation grown mature timber.

Teak pieces are tried and tested designs, supplied finely sanded and naked and may be treated post purchase with any product suitable for fences or decks, or let it weather gently to silver-grey..

The indoor furniture is a mix of period design reproductions and modern pieces. HQF specialises in beds and bedroom suites but please graze the website to see a variety of occasional furniture, mirrors and really superb partner desks.

As you may imagine, it is hard to hold stock in every stain or paint finish you may want ... and there's a bit of a wait to order in ... but we can get you exactly what you want if you have the time to wait.

If it's hard to suit everyone for beds, it's even harder to hold the right stock for our more unusual pieces so we don't even try... but again for those prepared to insist on great quality and an exact combination of size, shape and finish our customer order service will satisfy all demands. There may be no cheap thrills, but there will be thrills!

You don't have to use our designs. Send a drawing, or a picture from a book or magazine, surf the web and Pinterest see what's hot in London or New York ... no problem. When we've discussed all the details, there's a final sign off on the technical specifications to be sent to the carpenter. And, it's the same with our own designs - we can make anything smaller, bigger, taller, more drawers, few drawers, with leather, with fabric upholstery, with your own fabric, buttoned or plain, with highlights, antiquing, distressed with gold or silver, Glossy Black or French White ...
